Take the kids to visit Kinneil this festive season!
Visit Kinneil Museum over the Christmas and New Year period (free, open daily except Tuesdays, 12.30-4pm – check web site and social media for any seasonal or unexpected closures). It’s warm inside and looking merry! Our volunteers from the Friends of Kinneil have donated a tree, and venue staff have transformed the interior with wonderful decorations.
Pick up a copy of the special Christmas version of the Hidden Heritage Trail leaflet, produced by Falkirk Council and our volunteers, then head outside to join Doug the archaeology mole in following the frosty trail around the estate and answer the quiz. Back inside the museum, the Friends have laid on an additional special small challenge for kids – complete the snowy task, then collect your sticker and a free gift (while stocks last)!
