Step back in time to the Roman era this Saturday

Walk the Frontiers of the Roman Empire World Heritage Site

Step back along a 2,000-year timeline to the Roman era!

This weekend’s free outdoor walking tour at Kinneil Estate will have an added Roman theme. Come along this Saturday, 16 July, at 2pm to join the walk, led by a volunteer guide from the Friends of Kinneil – all ages welcome.

No need to book, just turn up – meet outside Kinneil Museum. The tour, for Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022, will last around an hour and a half, and will feature the stories and heritage of Kinneil House and Estate – this week stepping along the line of the Antonine Wall World Heritage Site, heading gradually back through the Centuries to the location of the Kinneil Roman fortlet.
