Kinneil House in Bo’ness will be open for free tours on Saturday, August 29, 2015. It’s part of a series of open events at the historic mansion, which boasts some of the best renaissance wall paintings in Scotland.
Visitors will be able to explore part of the building between noon and 3 p.m. (last admission 2.30 p.m.) Kinneil Museum – next to the House – will also be open. There will also be appearance from renaissance singers and a consultation about re-creating the historic orchard at Kinneil.
