Historic Kinneil Museum – which has just had a revamp – is worth checking out this weekend. It’s open on Good Friday, April 3; Saturday, April 4; and Easter Monday, April 6 – from 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
The museum is located beside Kinneil House, and is set within the beautiful Kinneil Estate. See www.kinneil.org.uk/attractions to find out more.
The museum was recently re-rated as a four-star attraction by VisitScotland. It features displays, interactive exhibits, film shows, and a small retail area. There’s also a fully-accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.
Cafes and restaurants are located in nearby Bo’ness town centre.
