Kinneil Museum closed for revamp

Kinneil Museum is now closed for two months – to allow a revamp to take place.

The building will be redecorated, the electrics will be upgraded and a new museum display installed.

The display has been funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and developed in consultation with local people. The museum is scheduled to reopen on March 21 in time for the Hippodrome Festival of Silent Cinema. (See our story on the museum re-opening.)

More on the Falkirk Community Trust website.

The grounds of the museum (and neighbouring Kinneil House) are open to visitors to enjoy throughout the year.
