Kinneil Museum was due to re-open today after the Christmas break. It will be open from 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec 27, 28 and 30 – and then from 12.30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Hogmanay.
Please note that the museum will be closed on January 1 and 2.
Normal opening hours – usually Mon-Sat from 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. – will resume on Friday, January 3, 2014. (The museum is closed on Sundays, apart from the Kinneil House open days.)
Admission is free.
Kinneil Museum is located in the 17th century stable block of Kinneil House and acts as an interpretative centre for Kinneil Estate. Its permanent exhibition, 2,000 Years of History, tells the story of the park from Roman times to the present day.
