The Inner Forth Landscape Initiative is an exciting new partnership programme being developed to conserve, enhance and celebrate the landscape of the Inner Forth Estuary. The Partnership comprises government agencies, local authorities and charities, led by RSPB Scotland.
The project area includes Kinneil Estate and Kinneil Nature Reserve (Kinneil Foreshore) in Bo’ness.
Local people hope the initiative – backed by the Heritage Lottery Fund – will lead to better interpretation and facilities at Kinneil and elsewhere around the Forth.
The Friends of Kinneil charity have already submitted ideas to the project.
During June, the IFLI team and project partners will be visiting six locations to give local people the opportunity to find out more about proposed projects and how you can participate and shape the initiative’s work.
If you want to find out more, why not attend one of these sessions. All events are drop-in and there’s no need to book.
Tomorrow (Wednesday 12th June) the team will be at Barnardo’s Education & Family Support Service, 17 Cadzow Crescent, Bo’ness, EH51 9AY, from 3.30-6.30pm.
Drop in, find out more and have your say.
