PUT Saturday, March 16, in your diaries. We’re supporting the Festival of Silent Cinema in Bo’ness by opening up our very own “picture” palace, Kinneil House. The mansion is packed with some of the best renaissance pictures (or paintings) in Scotland. You can get a free tour anytime from 10 a.m. to noon. This, of course, will leave you time to see film critic Mark Kermode, and his band the Dodge Brothers, at the historic Hippodrome Cinema in Bo’ness, later that day. The gang will be on stage at 2 p.m. at the Hippodrome. Other delights are also offer during the five-day festival.
All in all, a great opportunity to see Kinneil and Kermode in one day.

UPDATE: Mark’s event at the Hippodrome is sold out!
