Community Trust promotes Festival

FALKIRK Community Trust has produced a flyer to promote the forthcoming Festival of Museums. Kinneil Museum is taking part in the event with a special evening opening on Friday, May 18, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It’s been organised by The Friends of Kinneil, with support from the Trust, which runs the Museum. Visit www.kinneil.org.uk/night to find out more about the event.

Download a hi-res version of the flyer, in PDF format, here. It gives information on the Kinneil event and linked attractions at Callendar House/Park in Falkirk.

* The Festival of Museums takes place 18, 19 and 20 May 2012 – with museums across Scotland taking part.

Museums Galleries Scotland – the body which co-ordinates the Festival – says: “Festival of Museums is about visitors finding something exciting, entertaining and surprising anytime during day or night over one weekend at Scotland’s museums and galleries. Museums Galleries Scotland work with Culture24’s Museums at Night and the Europe-wide celebration, La Nuit des Musées. These events are all timed to take place over the same weekend making Festival of Museums part of a Europe wide celebration of the fantastic experiences that museums and galleries have to offer visitors. Festival of Museums events that take place during the evening or night (such as the Kinneil event) will also be promoted on the Culture 24 and La Nuit des Musées websites and marketing materials.”
