Owen wins top prize

OWEN Dunn, aged 9, of Redbrae Avenue, in Bo’ness has scooped The Friends of Kinneil’s Hallowe’en fancy dress competition. His Roman Soldier’s outfit caught the eye of judges – and won him a £10 voucher to spend at the Inkspot and Silverleaf Booksellers’ store in Bo’ness. Youngsters were encouraged to dress up for the October 30 open day at Kinneil House, with the best winning a prize. Thanks to all who dressed up – and who came along to Kinneil that day. Open days at Kinneil House resume in 2012, including another opening around Hallowe’en 2012.
