THE richly-decorated Arbour Road (above) is just of the things you can see during free tours of Kinneil House in Bo’ness. It’s open on Sunday, August 28, 2011 to tie in with the Kinneil Heritage Day.
The House will be open from noon to 4 p.m. (with the last admission at 3.30 p.m.) Please note that the House does get busy during open days – so come along early to avoid some of the crowds. Admission is free, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The main rooms are also up a flight of stairs, so the visit isn’t suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Kinneil Museum will also open for the afternoon. Again admission is free.
