A NEW coffee machine has been installed in Kinneil Museum – to meet the demand from visitors.
Falkirk Council’s leisure convener, Cllr Adrian Mahoney, said: “The museum sold fruit juice and provided free chilled water for visitors. But many asked for hot drinks.
“We’ve now installed a machine to offer coffee, tea and hot chocolate to meet the demand. Unfortunately, we don’t have the space to offer a fully-fledged café area, but hopefully this will be a welcome addition and improve the visitor experience.”
The museum was recently boosted by the installation of new audio-visual equipment, funded by the charity The Friends of Kinneil.
The facility is open all year, normally Monday to Saturday, from 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. (plus on special open days). Admission is free.
