Kinneil House in new Historic Scotland magazine

KINNEIL House and Museum features in the Spring 2011 issue of the Historic Scotland magazine – out now. The magazine is sent to all Historic Scotland members. The magazine talks about the 275th anniversary of the birth of James Watt and the fantastic wall paintings you can see inside Kinneil House in Bo’ness. The magazine cites Kinneil as one of “five big things to see”.

Remember you can tour the grounds of the House at any time, but can only see inside the building during special free open days. Visit www.kinneil.org.uk/2011opendays for details on the next free events. You can also visit the neighbouring Kinneil Museum, in the stables block of the House. This is open from Monday to Saturdays, from 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the year. Visit our maps page for directions to Kinneil (see www.kinneil.org.uk/map) and our Attractions page to see the other things you can discover in Kinneil Estate (www.kinneil.org.uk/attractions) – part of a World Heritage Site.
