MANY cultural and leisure facilities in the Bo’ness area will be open over the holidays – but there will be closures for Christmas and New Year. Details of planned openings/closures are listed below.

• Callendar House and Kinneil Museum
Callendar House in Falkirk and Kinneil Museum will operate reduced hours on Friday 24th December (i.e. 10am – 3pm). The House and Museum will be closed on Saturday 25th – Monday 27th December 2010. Kinneil Museum and Callendar House should re-open on Tuesday, December 28th. The pattern will be the same for the New Year with reduced hours on Friday 31st December (i.e. 10am – 3pm), the House and Museum being closed Saturday 1st January – Monday 3rd January 2011. • Public Libraries
All public libraries will close at 3pm on Friday 24th December and remain closed on Saturday 25th and Monday 27th December. Libraries will re-open on Tuesday 28th December operating a reduced service (ie. closing at 5pm). All other opening hours will remain unchanged for that week (Le. open to 8pm on Thursday 4th December). All public libraries will close at 3pm on Friday 31st December and will remain closed on Saturday January 1st and Monday 3rd January with normal hours being resumed on Tuesday 4th January (i.e. open until 8pm).
• Muiravonside Country Park
The Visitor Centre at Muiravonside Country Park will be closed Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th, Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th December 2010, Saturday 1st January, Sunday 2nd, Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th January 2011. The Farm and Country Park will be open during the holiday period.
• Falkirk Town Hall
Falkirk Town Hall will be closed to the public from Friday 24th December 2010 until Saturday 15th January 2011 for maintenance. The FTH office will operate reduced working hours on Friday 24th December (i.e. 9am-3pm) and will be closed on Saturday 25th – Tuesday 28th December. The pattern will be the same for the New Year with reduced hours on Friday 31st December (i.e. 9am-3pm), the office being closed on Saturday 1 st – Tuesday 4th January 2011.
• Steeple Box Office
The Steeple Box Office will operate reduced hours on Friday 24th December (i.e. 1 Dam – 3pm). The Box Office will be closed on Saturday 25th – Monday 27th December 2010. The pattern will be the same for the New Year with reduced hours on Friday 31st December (i.e. 10am – 3pm), the office being closed Saturday 1st January – Monday 3rd January 2011.
• Hippodrome

• Burial Grounds and Crematorium
The cemetery office, crematorium and burial grounds throughout the Falkirk Council area will be closed for cremations and burials on:

Grangemouth Golf Course will be closed on Saturday 25th December 2010 and Saturday 1st January 2011. Zetland Park Kiosk, Callendar Park Kiosk & Par 3 and Muiravonside Country Park Cafe will be closed on:
