Opening times are:
- Until Wednesday, December 23 – as normal – open Monday to Saturday, 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, December 24, Christmas Eve – 12.30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Christmas Day to December 27 – Closed
- Monday, December 28 – 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, December 29 – 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 30 – 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, December 31, Hogmanay – 12.30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- New Year’s Day – January 3 – Closed
- Monday, January 4, 2010 – and then every day, Monday to Saturday, as normal – 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission to the museum is free of charge. The museum features a shop, audio visual show, displays and artefacts dating back to Roman Times. It’s an excellent place to start your visit.
