TICKETS are now on sale for The Friends of Kinneil Fundraising Dinner. The event takes place at the Richmond Park Hotel, Bo’ness, on Friday, October 16, 2009. The event runs from 7 p.m. until midnight. A three-course dinner, with a half-bottle of wine per person, is on offer – as well as a welcome drink. Around £4 from the £25 ticket price goes to The Friends of Kinneil, a registered charity, which works to promote Kinneil Estate in Bo’ness. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.
The event will also feature a guest speaker – businessman Alan Steel giving a humorous talk about “Old Bo’ness” – a raffle and silent auction, and entertainment from historian and folk singer Ian Scott, a Friends of Kinneil member. Dress is lounge suits and cocktail dresses.
