Just a quick note today. We hope some of you came along to the Doors Open Days at Kinneil last month. More than 900 people did – and it proved to be one of our best open days to date . . .
** BRUNCH AND TALK ON KINNEIL
Historian Ian Scott is doing two talks on the history of Kinneil Estate at Callendar House in Falkirk in January. It’s part of a season organised by Falkirk Council. Details on the Council website.
** NEW WEB CONTENT AND FEATURES
The Kinneil Estate website continues to get lots of new content and features.
From our homepage at http://www.kinneil.org.uk/ you can go on a virtual tour inside the house, see our video, and download documents and guides from our attractions page.
** NEW ONLINE STORES
We’ve also added a special page allowing people to shop at big name online stores – and automatically pass on commission to The Friends of Kinneil. The cost is the same as going directly to these online retailers, so you can bag a bargain and we can earn some money to continue our work promoting Kinneil Estate (at no extra cost to you).
Or you can go directly to the websites at:
http://buy.at/kinneil (links to M&S, John Lewis, CD-Wow, etc.)
http://astore.amazon.co.uk/frieofkinn-21 (links to Kinneil-specific Amazon-powered e-store).
** RSS NEWS
If you’re technical and use an RSS feed reader, you can get Kinneil News delivered right to your desktop.
Simply add the address:
… and watch the stories come in.
